The lifebelt is no longer tied to the stanchion, just looped over the top of it,
suggesting it might have been used recently in a rescue bid. Two more
wrecks among those littered about the environs of the River Deben near
Felixstowe. Symptomatic of the easy-going, laissez-faire take on life that is
the Suffolk way: it's sunk, leave it, it'll attract wildlife and artists and
....photographers!
