On an early morning walk with the dog found this seemingly broken down
tractor, given over to being an attraction to the sheep. Looks like the
suspension has collapsed, but I know nothing about tractors, so for all I know
this one could be perfectly serviceable! The east of the country gets the
best weather in my view: the rain, which tends to come from the west, has
often petered out by the time it gets here, and although we can get bitter
winters with cold winds from the east coming off the North Sea, we do get
more sunny days than most other parts of Britain. This was one of the best
- a frosty start to wake you up, and a glorious cloud-free Spring day, lifting
the spirits all round.
