A Suffolk sky and tree

For once a Suffolk tree that isn't getting in the way of another picture! A 'hot' sky in infra-red juxtaposing with its wispy clouds the arms of dead tree on the banks of the Stour river. In normal (full spectrum) photography, the tree would look exactly as it does here, having no element that responds to infra-red radiation or reflection. But in I-R the sky is more sharply defined, the effect in this case being similar to that of a polarising filter.
