Tempodrom, Berlin

Situated, to my mind, in not very salubrious surroundings somewhere in Berlin (I wasn't too sure where exactly we were), the Tempodrom is apparently a concert hall and events venue, though I can't imagine it has anything like the acoustic brilliance of the Philharmonie, the home of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, near the Brandenburg Gate.  I was fortunate in the weather conditions for this shot - mid winter, late afternoon, drizzly, the place looming out of a fine mist like a fanciful Nibelungen castle or the Hall of the Mountain King.
