Berlin beer barrels

After an exhausting few hours spent at the Berlin Wall Museum,

opposite a surviving fragment of the wall itself, a drink was called for.

The nearest decent hostelry (decent has to include friendly atmos,

good beer and, in the middle of winter, warm), was about half a

mile away, but included a downstairs area past these barrels. I

presume they're empties, like the glass that I found at the bottom

of the frame long after I'd taken the picture - full barrels would have

been in a temperature controlled environrment. And if there's one

thing the German male takes seriously, it's his beer. Well, two things

really - his beer and his sausages. The wurst thing you can do is

deprive a bloke of his pint. In case the symmetry of this shot looks

suspicious, no it wasn't my glass.
