'Before and After' image (Pinhole church)
In an attempt to create the look of a pinhole camera picture, the sky has been changed to a more dramatic one, the original colour image made black and white and a template from Smart Photo Editor added for the dramatic look of pinhole. The fall-off of detail around the edge of the picture is typical of the way these lens-less cameras work: without any form of lens correction, the bare 'hole' which is the 'lens' fails to render any normal degree of image resolution, which gets progressively worse towards the edges of the frame . The picture won't make the parish magazine, but in my view is more interesting than the straightforward record shot.
